The Union of Warriors of the Anhalt Land (since 1921) was founded in 1883 and established merit crosses in 3 stages. The special tier was a gilded and enameled neck cross with an inscription on the back and larger than the silver-plated 2nd class by about 1 mm. The 1st shown here. The class was a grate cross without a back inscription. 2nd grade was silver plated and worn on a ribbon. The 1st Class Anhalt Warrior Union Meritorious Service Cross was awarded for distinguished service to the Warrior Union. As a manufacturer, the court engraver Alexander Vollram from Dessau is known. The address of the metalwork factory was Wallstr. 13/14 in Dessau. The Anhalt Land Warriors Union, as a member of the Kiefhauser Union, had 164 clubs with 12,517 members.
Due to the size of the country, such crosses are very rare.
