The Angolan Land Union of the Red Cross already in 1921 established honorary badges for many years of cooperation in the land union in 3 stages for 40, 25 and 10 years. These crosses are similar to those of other national clubs. The front sides for 25 and 40 years of dedicated service are covered with white enamel and gilded or silver plated. The cross for 10 years is matte silver plated. On May 4, 1932, the main union of the Anhalt Land Union decided to establish additional honorary badges for services to and in the land union. 3 classes were created. 1st class was worn as a neck cross. The 2nd class was a knotted cross with an oak-leafy wreath and the 3rd represented here. The class was worn on tape. The production of crosses was carried out by J.Godet & Sohn in Berlin W8, Charlottenstrasse 55. The Imperial Law on Titles, Orders and Badges of April 7, 1933 and the executive instructions of 1934 put an end to the award. Due to the very short award period and the small size of the land union, very few honorary crosses were awarded. In particular, the 1st and 2nd. The class is extremely rare. Presented here 3. The class is also very rarely offered. Source: Dr. Gerd Scharfenberg," Anhalt Red Cross-Badge of Honor" at OMM 54.
