Prince Alphonse Memorial Sign is an unofficial, private award donated at the beginning of the Weimar Republic by Prince Alphonse, Maria, Franz, Clemens, Maximilian of Bavaria. The prince, as a lover of hunting and the patron and protector of military and military unions, as well as rifle unions, privately established the Badge of Honor to reward honored persons. The memorial sign can be silver-plated or gilded. But it can be assumed that this is not a higher level of sign, but rather a change in the course of the presentation or the purpose of the presentation. Various merits are mentioned in the documents. Usually awarded for services to the Fatherland, there are also such formulations as:... " for the pastoral performance of hunting, hunting and care of the established memorial sign of Prince Alfons... (on Hubert's tape). " The badge was awarded with various ribbons as a backing. Hubertus ribbon (red with green edges), blue ribbon with white edges (for military clubs), green ribbon with white-blue edge stripes (for shooting clubs), green ribbon with blue-white diamonds around the edge (for small-caliber shooting clubs) are known. Other records are unknown to me. The manufacturer and chairman of the award committee was M. Heinlot from Munich. The seal on the documents has the inscription "His king. Highness d. Princes Alphonse V of Bavaria - court secretariat." On the back needle also with the number D.R.G.M. 854276. The award continued after the death of the prince in 1933. The last awards or certificates of wearing date back to the mid-to-late 1950s.
Openwork work sign made of gilded or silver-plated non-ferrous metal. This is superimposed on a piece of the order ribbon. At the back is a horizontal pin connected to the front side with 2 rivets. On the manufacturer's needle jumper, sometimes also with the number D.R.G.M.
