German Awards - Commemorative Badge 60. Crown Prince Ruprecht's birthday
The commemorative sign for the 60th birthday of the Crown Prince was donated on May 18, 1929 by Crown Prince Ruprecht. This is a private foundation of the former ruling house, not an official award. It was presented to the congratulators present at the celebrations. The author of the project is Professor Julius Dietz from Munich.
High oval sign made of gilded bronze. Above is a large royal crown. The back is smooth with a perpendicular pin.
Front side:
- The edge is formed from below by a tied, raised laurel wreath.
- In the included field, the large, curved letter - R - is increased.
- The background with oblique diamonds is slightly raised or deepened.
Downside:
- The back side is smooth. Vertically - a pin with a reciprocal hook.
