Landwehr awards were established by King Albert on April 23, 1874. The 2nd class was buckled until 1913. The 1st class is a cross made of silver with gold middle signs worn and was awarded unchanged until 1918. 1st class was assigned to officers who remained in service for at least 6 years after completing mandatory service. This service award 2. The class replaced the earlier acting award of 23 April 1874. It was awarded to officers, doctors, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who served their term in the Landwehr and Reserve, participated in the campaign or, for special reasons, were called up from vacation for at least 3 months. When entering the 1st grade, I had to leave the 2nd grade. Persons who had 1 form as a buckle of a service award could exchange it for a new one at their own expense.
