The anniversary memorial sign to adjutants was presented on March 13, 1917 by the Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hesse. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the government, the Badge of Honor in iron was established on the same day. This memorial sign was received by the military retinue of the Grand Duke and officers close to him. The anniversary memorial sign is one of the rarest awards of the Grand Duchy. According to W. Sauer, there are only 55 of them. Due to rarity, there are many copies and collectibles. Handed copies appear extremely rarely, usually in registered auction houses. Other features include no manufacturer's markings, a curved needle on a wide hinge post and a wide counterhook.
Lying, oval, openwork working sign made of gilded bronze. At the back is a curved transverse pin with a response hook.
