This sign was donated by William II in January 1913. All officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers who, after successfully preparing and passing two exams for air traffic controllers, received a diploma of a military air traffic controller through the air force and automobile inspection.
These badges were made in different versions. Material consists of silver, non-ferrous metal, silver-plated, fine zinc, silver-plated or iron. There are hollow embossed specimens, as well as forged specimens. The signs were made of silver, non-ferrous metal, silver-plated iron. Due to different production and material, the size varies from 1 to 3 mm.
In addition, half sizes were made for infection or for the hoop of the order (size: 50 x 30 mm). Embroidered structures with metal carvings are rare.
