The Medal for Faithful Service was established on May 20, 1933 by the Baden Land Fire Union. Although the lease period already falls into National Socialism or the German Empire, the foundation's roots certainly still lie in the Free State of Baden. The awards were given to firefighters who had served for more than 40 years in good faith and with a sense of duty for less than 50 years. The author of the draft was Max Ziegler from Pforzheim. The production was carried out by G.H.Osang in Dresden. During equalization in National Socialism, all awards of provincial fire and rescue units were banned and eventually replaced by the honorary sign of the Reich fire department. Due to the very short award period, only 2 years, this medal is very rare.
Round medal made of gilded bronze. Front side without raised edge. The back side with a narrow raised edge. Above is a soldered ordinary eye with a ribbon ring. In the ring of the punch tape - 80 - for G.H. Osang.
