This honorary fire sign was introduced as the last form by the State Ministry of Baden on April 20, 1934. The award was presented after 25 years of service in the volunteer fire department between 1934 and 1936. The award ceased with the Reich Fire Department Sign Decree of December 22, 1936. The Free State of Baden first established honorary badges for members of volunteer fire brigades on November 3, 1920. Awarded with badges of honor in 2 stages. After 40 years of service, the bronze medal was awarded by the Ministry of State. An honorary sign for 25 years of faithful service until 1934 was deposited a square clasp of gilded copper with a ribbon. It was presented by the Home Office. On July 10, 1922, the service life for the medal was increased to 50 years.
Rectangular silver clasp. This is applied to the plate associated with the tape. At the back is a horizontal pin.
