German Awards - Badge of Honor for Members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade for 25 Years 1920 - Free State of Baden
The badge of honor was established on November 3, 1920 by the State Ministry of the Free State of Baden. The fund replaced the previously issued honorary badges of the Grand Duchy. Members of the volunteer fire brigade continued to receive awards after 25 years of faithful performance of duties. The Ministry of the Interior has been awarded an honorary badge for 25 years. Simultaneously with the Badge of Honor for 25 years, the Badge of Honor for 40 years in medal form was established. Badges of honor were not refundable and could be worn even after leaving active service. In 1934, the buckle was redesigned and in a new form was awarded until 1936.
Rectangular gold plated copper clasp. The broken front side is underlain by a red-yellow, vertically striped order ribbon. The back side with a smooth lid and a horizontal pin with a mating hook.
Front side:
- Tie is formed by rectangular raised stepped edge.
- A central, flat wide jumper, divided by raised lines into 3 parts.
- Raised font distributed on the 3 at the level of narrow edges:
- - 25 - YEARS - SERVICE - U -/- U - VOLUNTEER -/- FIRE -.
Downside:
- The smooth lining is held by curved legs on all 4 sides.
- Horizontal pins and hooks are soldered on the plate slightly higher.
