The large honorary medal of the former German field artillery "For loyalty to weapons and camaraderie" was probably established in 1926 by the Arms Ring. Then a small honorary medal was established. In addition, there is also a badge of honor for a 25-year membership with a silver oak wreath and 25. The Order of Honor was awarded for loyalty to weapons and camaraderie to honored members of the Association. The rarity of the Grand Badge of Honour, considerably rarer than the Cross, suggests, in my view, that it is not the lowest degree of the Cross of Honour but a later award of merit in and around the Club.
A ring of field artillery guns was created in 1920. As 1. The chairman was Lieutenant General Fritz Jurst. Oskar von Watter, also a field artillery general, was one of the founders and leader of the field artillery weapons ring. Between 1890 and 1914 the field artillery was expanded from 37 regiments with 434 batteries to 100 regiments with 633 batteries. I do not know anything about the conditions for awarding the cross. The first Field Artillery Armament Day took place on October 6-7, 1928 in Berlin.
I will be very grateful for the information about the ring of weapons and the award.
