German Awards - Badge of Honor of the Land Union of the Royal Bavarian Field Artillery
The Royal Bavarian Field Artillery Land Association was founded as an association of tradition-rich former Bavarian field artillery regiments around 1926. The 1st chairman of the association was artillery general Otto von Gösling (1863-1934). The association has probably established 2 honorary marks for commendable activity. The badge of honour presented here is gilded. In addition, this badge of honor is known in silver-plated form. Nothing is known about the requirements for awarding or obvious gradation. Like other unions, it aimed to preserve the traditions of the monarchy's former army unions and unite former members. The manufacturer was L. Lerch in Munich. The badge of honor was worn on the left under the buckle of the order. At the same time, a small bandage icon must be created. After the death of the awarded, the badge of honor remained with the heirs, that is, it was not subject to return.
