German Awards - Freikorps Isarwinkel Mangfall Armband
This volunteer corps was supposedly formed from former Bavarian mountain shooters. Named after Mangfall, a river in Upper Bavaria. The companies named gau there were located in the area between Tegernsee and Bayrischzell. Whether the volunteer corps remained in the area or fought in Munich is unknown to me. Today there is an alliance of Bavarian mountain rifle companies with the Gau Mangfall-Leitzach, which also wears this insignia.
I will be very grateful for the information.
