Awards of Germany - Badges Members of the Presidium and heads of districts

This badge was established in 1925 by the Saxon Military Union. It was awarded to members of the presidium and heads of districts. The shield-shaped badge replaced the previously issued badges in the form of a crowned cipher. Patches existed with different ciphers. Known spacecraft - Crown Prince Albert, AR - Albert Rex (king) and FAR - Friedrich August Rex (king). The shield probably replaced the last FAR cipher.
The manufacturer was Glaser and a son from Dresden. The data on the award is unknown to me. The badge is very rare, since the number of members of the presidium and heads of districts, respectively, was not very high .

Icons in the form of a pointed, rounded shield. The upper part is slightly curved downward. The front side is gilded and enameled. The reverse is smoothly gilded with a flattened, perpendicular pin with a mating hook. In the center, the manufacturer goes deeper.

Front side:

• Above is a wide, curved, white enameled strip of font.
• It has gold, large letters - S.-M.-V.-B.- (Saxon Military Union)
• Under it is a perpendicular, central, golden line, divided into 2 halves.
• The left half is translucent, enameled green. A puncture is visible under it.
• It has a gold, decorated code - F - A - R - for Friedrich August Rex.
• Above it is a free-floating, five-door royal crown.
• On the right half is the coat of arms of Saxony. Sloping green enameled diamond crown.
• Central with a golden stroke, translucent with a puncture under it.
• Under it are flat wide stripes. 5 black enameled stripes starting from the top,
• alternate with 5 gold bands with a puncture ending below.

Downside:

• Smooth and gilded. Vertically soldered round needle with mating hook.
• The manufacturer is deepening in the center - GLASER - & - SOHN -/- DRESDEN -.
