Awards of Germany - Prussian National Military Union (1st form)

This badge was awarded by the Prussian Land Military Union to members who had worked in the union for 50 years. Badges were issued for members (a shield without oak foliage suspended from above), badges for 25 years with silver oak foliage and 25 on it and for 50 years with gold oak foliage and 50 on it. The 1st form of insignia differs from the 2nd form by a relief eagle on the coat of arms. Oak foliage is V-shaped with a raised pointed shield indicating the year on it. Above the shield is the Prussian royal crown. The 2nd form depicts an eagle in a shield flat. Oak foliage is oval in the wreath. It also has a pointed plaque with a year. Above the shield is now an image of a monument to Keef. The 1st form was produced until about 1920, after which a variant with the Käffhausen monument appeared.

Curved, pointed coat of arms. The background is diagonally enameled black and white. In the center, a Prussian eagle is sublimely minted. There is a small hole in the center from above. In it, oak foliage is suspended on a small ring. At the back is a horizontal pin on oak foliage. On the coat of arms there are 2 cotter pins and a strip attachment pad. At the bottom of the ribbon is a fringe of the color of the step. Manufacturer's designation on the plate as well as on oak foliage.

Front side:

• High relief eagle with crown, scepter and imperial apple.
• Oak foliage with a shield gilded with black - 50 - on the shield .
• On the shield is a royal crown, gaps enameled in red.
• On a black and white ribbon on a white background there is an inscription:
• - Prussian -/- Union of National Warriors - (with 2 volumes on the 2nd volume of the regional union)

Downside:

• 3 lines of the manufacturer carved on oak foliage:
• -HEINR.- TIMM -/- BERLIN - C - 19 -/- WALLSTR. – 21/22 -.
• On the coat of arms in the lower third 2 cotter pins.
• They pass through the oval lining and hold the tape.
• On the stove, the same manufacturer bent along the edge.
