The Prince Regent Luitpold Medal was established on 30 June 1905 by Prince Regent Luitpold. This medal was awarded "from their own movement" by commoners who, through their activities, loyally and firmly stood on the side of the royal house. A certificate of ownership was awarded to the medal. The medal was not refundable. The seal on the front side was made by Professor W. von Hildebrand. The Beliens came from all fields, such as military clubs, artisans, lower civil servants and officials, forestry workers, artists, as well as the military. The medal was awarded in 3 stages bronze, silver and gold. Gold medals were awarded only to persons very close to the regent. The upper eye of the gold medals is richly decorated and equipped with a long bearing ring. Silver medals are silver and silver plated from white metal. Silver-plated medals are distinguished by minting with a missing rim during the upper alteration and a laurel branch, which is without fruits.
Oval medal in silver. On top is a stronger, ordinary eye with a ribbon ring.
