The founding of military societies in Reuss is also likely to be established in the period after 1870/71. As in many German states, former fighters united in clubs of warriors and soldiers. Clubs in Reuss were also to merge into a national association. It was not possible to find out the exact date or whether there were separate national clubs of the junior and senior line. The coat of arms used was related to both lines. Golden lions symbolize Urland, viceroy of Weida, since 1790 with a crown as a sign of princely dignity. Cranes are a symbol of the Kranichfeld possessions acquired in 1454, which were later laid down by Saxe-Weimar, and in 1686 sold to Saxony Gotha. The title "Seniors of Kranichfeld" and the coat of arms remained. The founding of the membership marks came quite late. The design in the form of a shield with ribbons allows us to conclude about the period around 1900. Due to the small size of the principality, such signs are very rare. In the area of Reus principalities, I also know the following unions: Militärverein ehem. 72nd in Hera, cavalry union of Ronneburg and its environs, military union of Rauschwitz, military union of Hermsdorf, military and military union of Frankenthal (Reuss j. L.) Krieger-Verein Tierschneck near Camburg, the Military Union of Petersberg and its environs, the Military Union of Trebnitz and its environs, the Military Union of Grossbokedra, the Military Union of Ronneburg, the Eisenberg Partnership, the Military Union of Timendorf and Etzdorf, the Military Union of Köniz gshofen and Gösen and the Serba military club. I will be very grateful for the information about the Reuss land association.

At the bottom of the shield is a small eye, into which an ornamented shield with the name of the club is mounted. Long ribbons of national colors are attached to the back.
