A commemorative military coin of 1815 was presented on April 30, 1816 by Duke Peter Friedrich Ludwig. This medal should have been received by officers and soldiers who really stood on the battlefield and fought the enemy. The proposal for the foundation came from Field Marshal Fürst Blücher von Wallstatt. The latter asked the Prussian state adviser Nikolivius to present a silver medal for the campaign and to mint 1,750 pieces. The Berlin Mint took over the minting of medals. The medals were delivered in late April 1816. The award included a printed certificate of ownership with a regimental seal. The actual award was completed by August 1816. After that, several more medals were awarded on a separate application. The last proven award took place at the end of 1834. The medal was not refundable. However, if a crime or misdemeanor is committed, the medal may be forfeited and must be returned. There are band buckles that were authorized by order of the regiment for a short time. Also appear medals with the edge inscription of the carrier. By 1900, some spare and second units had been approved for officers.
