This cross was established by the Union of Fighters of the Western Front in 1920. The Cross of Honor is an unofficial award. Union members could search around the cross and receive a cross with military documents. Like most unofficial honorary signs of Weimar time, the cross had to be paid by the loaned person. The cross is established, as far as is known, in one class. Known carriers of the Iron Cross did not have 1. Class, but only class 2 owner. However, it can be assumed that at least possession 2. The class was a prerequisite for assignment. The cross is rare and, accordingly, expensive.
I would really appreciate more details.
