Awards of Germany - Honorary Cross of the Braunschweig Land Union of the Red Cross of the 2nd class

The depicted cross is the 2nd class of the badge of honor established by the Braunschweig Land Association of the Red Cross in 1926. This award was established in 3rd grade. The 1st grade was gilded and worn as a neck cross, the 2nd grade as a plug-in cross was silver plated, and the 3rd grade was also worn silver plated on a ribbon. This award was awarded to honored and long-standing members of the Union. It is also possible to award incentive awards to persons with special services to society. Silver-plated bronze cross. Front side with enameled cross-shaped sleeves, welded ends. In the center is a large round embossed medallion. The back side is smooth, silver plated with a perpendicular pin with a mating hook.
