Probably, this sign was donated at the end of 1932-1933 by the Reichsügendführer Baldur von Schirach. Members of the HYU who joined the HYU before June 1932 were eligible. The reason for this was that until 1932 the Hitler Youth was subordinate to the SA assault squad. From 1933, HJ became the imperial youth of the NSDAP and became the only tolerant youth organization in the Third Reich. The sign is presented in the form of a large variant of 22 mm and a small variant of 18 mm. The manufacturers are unknown to me. The first Reichsführer of HJ was Kurt Gruber. The seat of the imperial leadership was Plauen. In 1931 he was succeeded by Adrian Theodor von Renteln, former leader of the Union of Schoolchildren of Nazi Germany. On October 30, 1931, Baldur von Schirach was appointed "Reichsügendführer of the NSDAP," and on June 17, 1933 - "Reichsügendführer of the German Empire." In 1940, Arthur Axman took this position. The top of the entire HYU was the imperial youth leadership in Berlin. Traditional HJ signs are comparatively rare. Membership prior to 1932 was not as large as after 1933, when membership soared. Especially after 1939, when membership became mandatory.
