This medal was established on December 4, 1850 by Duke Leopold Friedrich of Anhalt-Dessau-Kötensky and December 26, 1850 by Duke Alexander Karl of Anhalt-Bernburg. Enrollment in the home order was not made. The first seven awards were presented on May 28, 1851. Until then, saviors were awarded cash allowances or community awards. And in the future, in such cases, incentives and cash payments were made, which were not enough to award the medal. Great people should be for great help in getting out of harm's way. During the rental period, there are some differences in brands. The first stamps were made by the Hofbronseur Wilhelm Liebau of Dessau. The medal was awarded in a case and with a diploma made by dessauer Buchbinder Frührsorge. In documents until 1863, the applicant's house, Bernburg or Dessau, is listed. On the back of the early pieces, the main strokes of the letters are more powerful, and the oak foliage of the wreath is somewhat denser. The medal was subject to return in the event of the death of the awarded. A total of 122 medals were awarded. Source: Gerd Scharfenberg, Order and Badge of Honor of the Anhalt States, 1999.
