Of the 600 medals struck in war metal, only 24 were awarded. The whereabouts of the remaining medals are unknown. The medal was not refundable after death and remained with the heirs. The medal was established on November 10, 1915 by Prince Henry XXVII. donated. Men and women who received services in the field of charity in wartime were awarded. The design of the medal is taken from the AWES coin in Berlin, on which the stamps were also made. In 1915, 1000 medals were minted in bronze. They came in a case and corresponding tape until 30.10.1915. Later designs differ from trial designs in the distance of the oak wreath from the edge. It comes to the edge.
