German Awards - Landwehr Service Award 1. Form enameled for the order

This award was established for those who were not in the officer rank and were transferred to the reserve.
This award corresponds to the service award of the Landwehr 2nd class of Prussia. 1st class for officers received Baden officers in the form of a Prussian award. The award consists of a rectangular clasp with an iron trim.
Red ribbon with letters embroidered in yellow - F.-W.-L. - for Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig. On the left and right are a yellow embroidered Landwehr cross. At the back, the tape is sewn up with a horizontal pin. Size 45 mm x 16 mm.
The object depicted here was made to be worn on an order necklace.

Rectangular gilded pendant. The inside of the front side is enameled. On top is a decoration with an ear and a ribbon ring. The back is smooth and gilded.
