The commemorative sign was presented on 11 November 1909 by Crown Prince Henry XXVII for his silver wedding to Elise, Princess of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. This badge was received by everyone who officially took part in the celebrations. A commemorative badge with a lapel pin was issued for princely guests. (The image of the remains of the brochure is recognizable, converted into a women's brooch.) Other guests received a badge with an ear and a ring of ribbon, and the ladies received a badge with a red enameled crown. On the cork sign for the princely ladies, the crown was not enameled. But it was also allowed to wear an enameled version in the form of a brooch. Source: J. Nimmergut, Deutsche Orden und Ehrenzeichen bis 1945, vol. II, 1997.
