Awards of Germany - Award for 24 years of the silver medal of 1832 (1st coinage)

King Anton and his co-ruler Frederick Augustus II. established on December 24, 1831 service awards for 24 and 15 years of faithful and groundless service of non-commissioned officers and soldiers. Medals for 24 years were silver, and for 15 years - bronze. The stamp for the first minting until 1868 was cut by Karl Reinhard Kruger, an engraver at the Royal Saxon Mint in Dresden. In 1868, new stamps were made by Max Bardulek. Distinctive features in the 1st embossing are not a bay leaf under the foot on the right -A and a slightly smaller crown. The inscription on the reverse is less than on the 2nd seal. Since 1868, service awards have become 3-classic. To this was added a gold medal, which was now awarded for 21 years of service. The silver medal shown here was awarded to the 2nd grade and from 15 years of service. 3rd grade as a bronze medal was awarded from the age of 9. • Behind the letters 2 below are crossed and tied with a ribbon branches.
• On the left is an oak branch, and on the right is a laurel branch. They are curved and end right in front of the crown.
• The ends of the ribbon blow left and right under the letters.

Downside:

• Along the edge is a diamond-shaped wreath consisting of 14 leaves and dots with alternating decorative lines.
• In the nested field, 3-line font: - for -/- long - w. - good -/- services. -.

Tape:

• green 32 mm wide, edges 2 mm, side stripes white 2 mm.
