German Awards - Bronze Medal "For Merit" Friedrich Franz IV.
After taking office, Grand Duke Frederick founded Franz IV. Bronze Medal "For Merit." The medal was an extension of the surviving merit medals of his predecessor Friedrich Franz II. and Friedrich Franz III. he. The award was held as the lowest level for services of a general nature to the military and civilians. The stamps were made by the Schulz medalist working on the main Berlin coin. Source: J.
