Awards of Germany - Colonial Badge (Order of the Elephant) 1922
This badge was donated by the Ministry of Reconstruction in 1922 to all who worked in the colonies during the World War and in the interests of the colonies. The issuance or award was initially carried out by the Ministry of Reconstruction. Since December 31, 1935, the award has been presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It remains only to obtain permission to purchase. Since January 1936, the badge was awarded by the Fuhrer and Reich Chancellor personally only in exceptional cases. Versions in non-ferrous metal, silver-plated or less often in aluminum came to the award ceremony. About 8,000 were produced.
The project was designed by sculptor Möbius of Berlin-Wilmersdorf and was defended under his name.

- On the right to the edge in the background is a palm tree, the branches of which reach the edge.
- At the top of the icon in the center is a tied loop.
