This commemorative cross, like many unofficial awards, was established after World War I in the 1920s. The publisher was the Honorary Union of Saxon Participants in the World War/Friendly Union of German Fighters of the Eastern and Western Fronts. This cross could be acquired by members of the Association at their request and after studying military documents. The more exact terms of the award are unknown to me. Since an excellent fighter had to pay for the cross himself (as for many crosses of warrior clubs), crosses are usually rare and are in demand by collectors and, accordingly, expensive.
Eight-pointed cross made of gilded non-ferrous metal. Crosses with a wide gold border. The inside of the front side is enameled in green. The front side with a round blackened middle medallion worn. Between the tops of the upper cruciform shoulder there is a relief transversely standing ear. A small ring with a band ring passes through them. The back panel is smooth and gold-plated with manufacturer's stamping.
