The federal badge of honor of the Saxon Military Union was established in October 1930. Women were awarded for many years and worthy activities in support of the Federation. Women's participation in military alliances in Saxony dates back to 1873. In 1883, the first military women's association was founded in Meissen. Officially, women's unions were accepted into the union only in 1920 by decision of the Federal Assembly. Attempts to join the Union before that were unsuccessful. Voting rights were also absent. Women's unions had an addition in the membership mark - the women's union. The participation of women in the Federation led to the establishment of the Badge of Honor in recognition of merit. The federal badge of honor for women was awarded only 3 years and is one of the rarest awards of the Union of Warriors. A total of 57 awards were received. The manufacturer is Glaser & Sohn from Dresden.
