For the first time in the kingdom of Saxony, honorary badges for workers and servants were established by King Albert in 1875. These were unbearable 52 mm silver medals. There are 2 different reverse side inscriptions. "FOR MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE" AND "FOR LOYALTY IN WORK." In 1894, a portable medal was introduced by ministerial decree. It was handed over along with the document. Markey was cut by Max Bardulek of Dresden.
From 1894 to 1903, medals bore the portrait of King Albert. From 1902 to 1905, the portrait of King George was on medals. This medal replaced the 2nd form under King George, which was awarded until then. Medals were received by workers and servants who, from the age of 25, continuously served for 30 years in the same official respect and worked unquestioningly and loyally. In 1906, the starting age was reduced to 18 years. Military service counted if a worker or servant returned to the same service. Source: Nemmergut, German Orders and Insignia until 1945, vol.
