For the first time in the kingdom of Saxony, honorary badges for workers and servants were established by King Albert in 1875. These were unbearable 52 mm silver medals. There are 2 different reverse side inscriptions. "FOR MANY YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE" AND "FOR LOYALTY IN WORK." In 1894, a portable medal was introduced by ministerial decree. It was handed over along with the document. Markey was cut by Max Bardulek of Dresden.
This medal, presented by King Albert on 10 August 1894, replaced the large medals that had previously been awarded. Medals were received by workers and servants who, from the age of 25, continuously served for 30 years in the same official respect and worked unquestioningly and loyally. Small medals were minted on the royal coin according to the stamps of Max Bardulek. About 7300 pieces were minted from the 1st form of the medal.
