In 1922, at the request of the chairman of the Coburg Military Union, F. Hyun, the former Duke Karl Edward of Saxony approved and donated Coburg and Gotha. Unlike the military memorial sign on the ribbon, it was not a military sign, but a purely memorial sign to the participants in the war in the unions of soldiers and the unification of the former 95s.
By design, the cross corresponds to the cross on the ribbon, including the embossing on the back. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that the crosses on the tape were redone. Since 1927, slightly curved crosses with a smooth back began to be produced. They are a little lighter than the material. Due to the small size of the warrior alliance, crosses are rare. Source: J.
