The cross was established on December 12, 1914 by the Duke of Anhalt Frederick II. The pin cross, with a high probability, in 1918 the pedant of the Iron Cross 1. The class was intended for the foundation. For a number of reasons, the matter no longer came to the foundation's decree. Duke Frederick II. Died April 21, 1918, his successor and brother Duke Edward died September 13, 1918. The last abdication of Prince Regent Aribert on November 12 this year made the Foundation impossible. The minimum award is 1. The class is not busy. What circle of persons now falls into the possession of the plug cross is largely unclear. Whether there have already been awards offers or something similar, I do not know. Crosses were made at several sites in Lüdenscheid and at Meybauer, Berlin. All these crosses are made with a pin. Although the screw disc crosses encountered are known, they must be later private fabrications or re-fabrications at the end of 20 or 30 years, respectively. The cross is made of bronze with slightly curved back toothed cross-shaped sleeves. Screw washer behind.
