The honorary award for 30 years was established by Duke Ernst I on September 16, 1886. Men and women who continuously served 30 years in the same family were awarded. Applications for rewarding city servants were submitted by the city council. Rural servants were offered by the district council. The first form was issued until 1895 exclusively to service people. The inscription reads - FOR - LOYALTY - SERVICES -. In addition, a 50-year stage with a gilded middle shield was introduced.
The production was carried out by Meisenbach from Altenburg. The supplier was the court jeweler Ernst Eberhardt.
