German Awards - 1913 3rd Class Award for 9 years
This award was established along with the 1st and 2nd. July 19, 1913 by King William II.
The order of March 16, 1874 was changed so that the service award was intended for soldiers of the standing army. Already received rewards can be exchanged. Pensioners could purchase them at their own expense. When exchanging decisive were not classes of previous service awards, but years of service. The depicted medal in black iron was awarded from 1917 to 1921. Medals from Argentan (also called nickel silver) before that.
