This badge of honor was established on February 19, 1918 by Prince Gunther von Schwarzburg Rudolstadt and Sondershausen on the birthday of Princess Anna-Louise. Women were to be awarded for great and outstanding activities in most domestic areas of work. The award was awarded in 2 classes. 1st grade should be openwork and silver, 2nd grade should not be openwork and golden. Several projects were prepared for this. It was decided to assign only one class. Due to production costs, it was not made in openwork form. Production was handled by Bury & Leonhard, a court jeweller in Hanau. The medal was awarded 117 times in Rudolstadt and 98 times in Sondershausen. The award took place with a diploma signed by the princess who presented the award and the Minister of State Freiherr von der Recke.
An oval silver medal with a raised border on the front. The back side is smooth. On top is an ordinary transverse eye with a ribbon ring.
