The order was created by King Frederick Augustus II. It was presented to Duke Albrecht in memory of 31.12.1850. Initially, it was divided into the following classes: Grand Cross, Komturkreuz 1, Komturkreuz 2, Knight's Cross and Small Cross. In 1866, swords were granted to him. Commander crosses were awarded in 2 forms. A distinctive feature is the so-called baker's hat in the medallion of the 1st form. The dimensions of the large cross and the comture cross are the same. Another star belongs to the first class. The second class is awarded without a breast star. Various versions were presented. The form shown here is the most common. A total of 208 chest stars were awarded.
Four-pointed star made of silver with smooth rays. 4 rays above, below and sides longer. Between them, 7 stepped, becoming shorter than the rays. In the center is a gold enameled medallion. At the back is a round decorative overlay in the center and a vertical pin.
