160 - 170 € in oxidized zinc
The cross was presented by Grand Duke Adolf Frederick VI on 17 June 1917 to the citizens of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Eligibility was granted to individuals who were particularly well established in the home country to support the army or nursing, whether in government offices, businesses, or other areas that supported units of the state during the war. The presentation included a certificate of ownership. The award was non-refundable. Due to the small number of inhabitants of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, this award, unlike Prussia, is very rare. There are samples oxidized and silver-plated in iron or also oxidized in military metal (zinc alloy). The manufacturer was Godet Berlin. A total of 598 copies were delivered, but only 446 crosses were awarded. After the death of the awarded, the crosses remained with relatives.
