The military partnership Hassia (Hesse) was founded in 1874 in Eichzell. It became the Union of Land Warriors of the Grand Duchy of Hesse and the Hessian Lands. Local clubs of warriors, singing and military musicians joined her. The association had its own youth organization, Youth of Hassia. The bureau publishes an annual "Hassia" calendar. It was produced until the 1930s. The Brotherhood of Warriors, like other warrior unions, joined the Kiefhauser union, but retained a certain independence.
The Hassia Military Fellowship has also instituted awards for its members such as 2nd grade merit crosses, rifle awards, and membership badges. For many years of membership in the club, ribbon bandages on the club badge were awarded. There are tape runs with numbers - 25 -, - 40 - and - 50 - for the corresponding years of membership. There are 2 different types of icons. One form depicts a gilded lion with a light blue background in the sign, on the 2nd form - a red and white striped lion with a light blue background. In addition, the icons have differences in lion pattern and font.

With vertical icon and manufacturer designation. Gilded fringes of non-ferrous metal are embossed on the lower ends of the band.
