Awards of Germany - Medal of Salvation on the ribbon of the Republic of Prussia 1925
As the successor to the rescue medals of the Kingdom of Prussia, the Ministry of the Interior established this medal on 9 June 1925. She, as before, served to reward people who dedicated themselves and deserved to save lives and people. In September-October 1925, several copies of this coin were made and delivered without an overprint - REPUBLIK - PREUSSEN. However, they were melted down to a few and are extremely rare.
Round silver medal with rim. Above is a soldered ordinary eye with a ribbon ring.
Front side:
- On a smooth base is the supreme eagle of the Prussian Republic with wide wings.
In the - upper part of the region there is an inscription: - REPUBLIC - in the lower part of the region - PRUSSIA -.
Downside:
- Around the edge is round, dense, wide oak-leaved wreath.
- Nested field has 4 lowercase font:
- - FOR -/- RESCUE -/- SHUTDOWN -/- DANGER -.
Tape:
orange 28 mm wide, edges 1 mm, side stripes white 4 mm.
