The Baden Warriors Union, the former Bund military union, established the Cross of Honor in 2 classes on July 2, 1929 by decision of Land Day. This cross was awarded for a worthy and faithful 50-year membership in the Baden Union of Warriors. The 2nd class cross was enameled in blue and could be awarded after 15 years. Members supported each other and helped the families of their fallen comrades.
