German Awards - Fire Badge of Honor for 25 years 2. Form (Thuringia)

This medal was established on May 28, 1925 by the Thuringian Land Fire Union in 4 stages. The steps differ in the inscription on the reverse, as well as the material and are: 1. "For faithful service," 2. "For 25 years of faithful service," 3. "In 33 Years of Faithful Service" and 4. "In 40 Years of Faithful Service." No awards are known for Stage 4. Volunteer fire departments and operational fire departments were awarded at the end of their service. 1 and 2. The level was made in bronze for team ranks and for high ranks in silver or silver. The medal for 33 years of service was awarded silver or silver-plated playpens. High ranks received this level gilded. After 50 years of service, a ribbon in the form of 50 in an oak-leafy wreath was granted.

Round medal in rimless bronze. Above is a soldered ordinary eye with a ribbon ring.

Front side:

• Centered on an oak wreath is a fire helmet with fireman axes underneath.
• These crossed ones are inserted into the helmet belt.
• On the rim there is an inscription: - THURINGIA - FIRE - ASSOCIATION -.
• At the bottom is a quadrilateral placed on top.

Downside:

• Along the edge is a stylized laurel wreath of 2 branches crossed at the bottom.
• In the nested field, the four-line font is: - FOR -/- 25 - YEARS -/
• - LOYALTY -/- SERVICES -.

Tape:

white 30 mm wide, edging 1 mm, side stripes red 2 mm, central stripes red 10 mm.
