German Awards - Badge of Honor of the Saxon Land Association of the Red Cross 3. That is sick
This badge of honor was established around 1922 by the Saxon Land Union of the Red Cross together with the 1st and 2nd. Class "Badge of Honor." The oval medal was awarded for 10 years of faithful and impeccable service in the land club. The 1st grade is a gilded, green enameled knotted cross with a green enameled oak-leafy wreath between the cross sleeves. 2nd class - silver-plated, enameled with green enamel plug cross without an oak wreath. 1st class was assigned after 40 years, 2nd class - after 25 years. The medal shown here is the first form of the 3rd class. There are 2 forms according to the inscription on the reverse side of the coin. The 1st form has on the reverse side a recessed Geneva cross - GES.GES.- and the manufacturer's signature - Glaser & Sohn Dresden -. The second form was introduced around 1930 and has on the reverse side next to the laurel wreath along the edge a raised font of 6 lines - Noble -/- be -/- person -/- useful -/- and -/- good -. The substrate is shaded unevenly perpendicular. Upon promotion, the lower class was to be demoted. The only manufacturer known as Glaser & Sohn is Dresden. The 2nd mold was also made of military metal (zinc alloy).
Oval medal made of silver-plated non-ferrous metal. On the back is a soldered curved ear with a jumper through which a ribbon ring passes.
Front side:
- Along the edge is a silver burgundy, green enameled laurel wreath, crosswise tied at the bottom.
- Almost in the center, a red transparent enameled Geneva cross rises above it.
- On a smooth, silver background, the font towered and curved, above the cross:
- - FOR -/- FIDELITY - SERVICES - bent below the cross in 3 lines:
- - SACHS. - LAND CLUB -/- FROM -/- RED - CROSS -.
Downside:
- Smooth and silver plated.
- In the middle deepens the Geneva cross, in it or under it the inscription: - GES.- GESCH.

- An engraving (illegible) of eut is arched under the cross. Loan name and number.

Width 30 mm, red and white side stripes 3.5 mm/4 mm, central stripes green.
