German Awards - Badge of Honor of the Saxon Land Association of the Red Cross 2. That is sick
The badge of honor of the Saxon Land Union of the Red Cross was established on March 13, 1922 by the board of directors of the land union in Dresden. The Badge of Honor was awarded in 3 classes. They took the place of honorary diplomas and needles issued by that time. A prerequisite was decent activity in the interests of the club. It was explicitly stated that longstanding affiliation with the land union, industry unions and medical compendia was not in itself sufficient grounds for award. However, individual classes were tied to membership. 3rd grade, oval medal, was shown after at least 10 years of membership here 2. class, was granted after 25 years and 1st class, a gilded cross with an oak wreath between the cross sleeves, was granted only after 40 years of membership and well-deserved activity.
Individual classes were subject to return upon promotion. The same applies to exclusion from the club. But this does not apply to the death of the lent. The heirs were allowed to keep the badge of honor. He was awarded an honorary badge with a diploma from the chairman of the von Bose Directory.
The manufacturer of the badge of honor was Glaser and a son from Dresden. The exact dates of the award are unknown to me.
