The Bavarian Land Union of the Red Cross established in 1923 an honorary badge in 2 classes. The cross presented here is a 1st class cross in the form of a pin cross. 2nd class with the same design of the front side is also enameled at the back and worn on the ribbon. People were awarded for outstanding services in and around the club. The exact requirements for awarding me are still unknown. Whether only association members or even sponsors are awarded should also remain open. Awarding as a reward for many years and conscientious work can be excluded, since in the same year the association established awards for 40 and 20 years. The Bavarian Red Cross Land Union was founded on January 24, 1921 and lasted until its dissolution during unification until 1937.
