Awards of Germany - Commemorative military coin for volunteers of 1813
The medal was instituted by King Ernst August on 11 May 1841. This commemorative military coin was awarded to Hanoverian citizens and foreigners who voluntarily joined the Hanoverian army to promote the liberation of the country from Napoleonic domination.
