Commemorative 100th anniversary coins. The jubilee of the previous Royal Hanoverian troops was established on 19 December 1903 by King and Emperor William II. donated. A total of 9 medals were awarded. On the same front side of the medal are different views from behind with the corresponding anniversary dates of military units. Medals at the regiment's anniversary celebration were awarded only to present soldiers or undeservedly absent soldiers. A commemorative commemorative coin with the date - November 27, 1813 - November 27, 1913 - was awarded to servicemen of the 1st Hanover Infantry Regiment No. 74.
The regiment was raised in 1866 from the remnants of Hanover's former infantry units. They had already fought at the battles of Waterloo and Langensalza. The troops were formed in Danzig and reinforced by East Prussian soldiers of various regiments. The first place was Cologne. During the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71, the regiment fought at Spicheren, Metz and Belfort. Since 1871 he was an occupation detachment in Nancy. Since 1873, the location was Hanover. During the First World War, the regiment fought mainly in the West, participated in numerous battles. They included St Quentin, Reims, Champagne, Verdun, Somme and Noyon, to name a few. In 1918, the regiment was disbanded.
