Awards Germany - Service Award Buckle 3rd Class 1825
This service award was awarded to non-commissioned officers and soldiers who served faithfully in the army for 9 years. If people participated in hostilities or wars, this time was doubly counted. These staples were not replaced by medals or crosses until 1913.
The award is in the form of a clasp superimposed on a sheet covered with an order ribbon, with a needle located on the back side, transverse. Versions of rapprochement are also known. The earlier form of the award had a smaller 3 in the shield and was about twice as expensive.
