Germany Awards - Forward bar for combat and falling fighters in gold with star pendant
The frontlines were established by Luftwaffe Commander-in-Chief Hermann Göring on January 30, 1941 as a visible sign and recognition of the use of the front in the air. All Air Force personnel who took part in front-line operations and fulfilled the provisions of the award were awarded. The front flight bar was donated in 8 versions for the corresponding type of application in 3 stages. The bronze front bar was awarded after 20 enemy flights, the silver after 60 flights and the gold front bar was awarded after 110 enemy flights.
Due to frequent overfulfillment of tasks on June 26, 1942, the star (suspension) was presented to the golden front span. The trailer was awarded attack aircraft after 400 front-line flights, attack aircraft after 300 sorties. Wide clasp made of gilded military metal. At the back is a horizontal pin. Below on the middle wreath behind 2 soldered hooks. A gilded pendant is suspended in them. On the sheets of the trailer there is a narrow jumper with an eye for hanging in hooks.
Front side:
In - the center of the clasp is a round wreath consisting of bay leaves. Below is a straight-standing swastika.
- A blackened winged bomb bent in it separately, breaking through the interior spaces.
- The tip of the bomb is directed downward. The swastika and leaf tips are polished.
- To the left and right of the wreath are oak leaves in 4 rows - 3 - 3 - 2 - 1 - leaf
- The suspension is central with an 8-beam star in the middle with a round double outlet.
- To the left and right of the star are 3 bay leaves.
Downside:
- Smooth and gilded with a horizontal pin.
- There is no manufacturer name here.
- The suspension is also smooth and gilded.
